Each year, the Leadership and Diversity Chair recruits the best minds in business from diverse academic backgrounds, nationalities, and ethnicities to work with L'Oréal to tackle several challenging problems through intercultural collaboration and empirical action. This year, the students will be working with L’Oréal’s International Distribution (LID) to tackle some big challenges in emerging markets:
BS North Asia Luxe: How do we successfully launch lifestyle brands that are very strong in the West (e.g., Rabanne) on this continent? What is the lifestyle model in Asia? Who are the consumers?
BS LID Whitespaces: What are the biggest brand/country opportunities with our LID portfolio?
BS Lancement SSA: Launching a Skincare range in Nigeria: which brand? How should we proceed given a distribution network that is very different from the European one?
We are excited to thoughtfully explore how Diversity and Inclusion can drive innovation for LID in emerging markets. This will be another challenging and inspiring program!
