DE&I strategies for brand expansion of NYX Professional Makeup
Each year, the Leadership and Diversity Chair recruits the best minds in business from diverse academic backgrounds, nationalities, and ethnicities to work with L'Oréal to tackle several challenging problems through intercultural collaboration and empirical action. This year, the students are working with NYX Professional Make-up on their DE&I strategy. They are working on the following projects-
Blooming Bright - Supporting Gen A on their journey of mental health and identity development by accompanying them at each stage for embracing their evolution.
Shades of you- 'Shades of You' aims to develop a platform that enables the NYX community to celebrate their individuality. By enabling individual creativity, artistry and expression we hope to support the rise of an engaged and inclusive NYX ecosystem.
PRISM for India- A Multi-Faceted Approach to Promoting Trans Rights in India with NYX Professional Makeup.
Expansion SEA- Expanding NYX business in Thailand and in the Philippines, promoting a more inclusive definition of beauty, uniting the modernity and traditions characteristic of these countries.
The students will formulate their suggestions based on deep quantitative and qualitative research and critical thinking. The students have Chair seminars every Saturday wherein they brainstorm ideas and conduct research to develop practical action items, ready for consideration and implementation. They also get critical feedback from NYX during monthly feedback sessions which they incorporate into their projects to refine and fine-tune their strategies.
The students will present their projects to NYX and L'Oréal, on 6th June 2023.
