About us
Shaping Future Leaders Through the Lens of Diversity
Founded in 2007, the Leadership and Diversity Chair is a think tank that promotes exchanges between researchers, business leaders, and students to develop innovative perspectives and new approaches to leadership and diversity through the creation and diffusion of knowledge (savoir), skills (savoir-faire), and attitudes (savoir-être).
The Chair has been sponsored by L'Oréal over the past 20 years and by Air France, one of the founding sponsors that is rejoining the Chair in 2026. The two firms' commitment to supporting the Chair reflects their engagement in raising awareness of diversity and inclusion issues and in developing new perspectives and initiatives.
The Chair's key activities include the development and production of research and case studies, the organization of conferences, and a six-month teaching program for ESSEC students, including a seminar series and projects run in cooperation with its partner firms.
